I was in Ballymena in the early afternoon in May so went for a drive to Slemish, half killed myself hauling painting stuff up it and came down after a few hours with these two paintings.

Forgive the dust stuck to some of these -it was a hot dusty day. I really wanted to get that light that happens on really hot days when everything reflects off of everything else. Got very sunburnt. Some farmers or vegetable pickers drove past and gave me the thumbs up which was nice.
